Madelynn turned 6 months old January 29th. It is hard to believe she's already 6 months! This past month has been full of lots of firsts for her.

She had her first solid foods at the end of December. She wasn't too crazy about the rice cereal but loves oatmeal, especially mixed with applesauce.

January 3rd she got her first tooth on the bottom. Followed by the second bottom tooth just 2 weeks later. Now she is working on her third tooth now, as she is drooling and mouthing everything.

January 19th she sat up on her own at five and half months old. She loves to sit up and look around.

Jan 27th just shy of six months she rolled over from her stomach to her back for the first time. She was so proud of herself. She is working on trying to get from her back to her stomach but her belly and feet keep getting in the way:)

She loves to talk and play with her toys. Anything she can get in her mouth is great. It amazes me that she can sit up and lift a big toy to her mouth and chew on it. All the while keeping herself upright. She is one happy baby and joy to be around.

We go to the doctor on Wednesday next week for her six month check up. I will post her stats after that.
