Madelynn turned 11 months old on June 29th while we were in Wisconsin for a week. It has taken me this long to get caught up since we returned, yikes! As you can see in the pictures, Maddy has a love for animals.

Maddy is now actually 11.5 months old and getting so close to her first birthday. I am so very excited for her. She has so many more firsts ahead of her. At 11 months old she has conquered standing on her own. Madelynn can even get herself to a standing position from the floor now with no assistance from anyone or anything. Its pretty cute to watch her. Of course everytime she does this standing trick she applauds herself and expects us to join in:)

My favorite thing that Maddy does is that she walks along with pretty much anything, furniture, cabinets, people, whatever, she's not picky. But if I happen to be in reach she will grab onto my legs and cling. There is something so sweet about that feeling of having her holding on to me. I know it won't last for long, she will be too busy walking and then running around. She has been working on taking steps, she will take a couple steps without holding onto anything. But as soon as she realizes she's walking, she falls to her bottom.

Madelynn loves to talk, and will now say "hi" to people when she is out and about sometimes. She's learned the words: Uh oh, No, Dog, Hi and Dada. She doesn't get what to use "no" for yet, but I have heard her saying it.
