One day Hayden and I were talking about his baby teeth. How someday in probably the next year he would start to loose his baby teeth.
Hayden: "will I get new teeth?"
Mommy: "yes you will get your adult teeth then."
Hayden: "........ (thinking about this) Will I still be a kid if I get my adult teeth?"
Mommy: "yes you will still be a kid:) They will just be the same teeth you have as an adult but you get them while you are still a child."
I had never really thought about how silly it must sound to a child to call them adult teeth when they are usually around the age of 6 when they start to get them.
