Dear Madelynn,

One year ago today you joined our family as Madelynn Renee Banas. What a wonderful year it has been with you, full of lots of firsts. You have been having a wonderful birthday. We celebrated your birthday with both sets of families this past Saturday. You had lots of fun opening your gifts and really got into it with a little help from big brother Hayden. You weren't too sure about your cake but eventually you dug into it with your hands.

This past week you started to really walk. We can honestly say that you were walking before you turned 1 years old. Your favorite thing to do is walk around now. You want to walk and explore everything, it is just adorable to watch you. You also love your shoes that you have had since the beginning of July. When you see them you want them on your feet. A girl after her Mommy's heart, like mommy like daughter.

We are so very proud of all that you have accomplished in your 1st year of life. And we can't wait to see what you will do next. Happy 1st birthday Maddy, we love you so very much!
