Yesterday Madelynn had her 1 year check up. Hayden had fun telling our pediatrician what Maddy can do at this age. It was cute to listen to him answer the questions she was asking me. He knows his sister pretty well:) Madelynn had fun walking around the room and showing off for the doctor.
Madelynn vocabulary is ahead of where it needs to be since she says 5-6 words. Our pediatrian joked that she was surprised that Maddy's vocabulary was that big since she didn't know how she could get a word in edge wise with Hayden:) Yes she knows our son well, he's a talker just like me.
The words Maddy says are:. Hi, Uh oh, Da da, Dog, Doll, and she calls me Na Na. Madelynn's other talents are walking, waving and pointing.
When her peditrician asked if she understands what we say, I said Oh yes she does. Then she asked us if she points and Maddy on que pointed for her. She's a smart little girl:)
Here are her stats compared to Hayden at 1 years old.
Hayden:
Height: 31. 25 inches
Weight: 25 lbs 3 oz
Madelynn
Height: 31.25 inches (97%)
Weight: 25 lbs 5 oz (95%)
So she's the same height as her brother was at her age. Hopefully soon I will be able to get a video on here of her walking. She's moving now:)
