Ok so maybe it wasn't exactly camping in the wilderness. But this time the boys did camp outside, specifically in our backyard. Hayden and Andy camped out last Saturday night. I joined them for a s'more and then went happily back inside to the comforts of my own bed.
When I asked Hayden what his favorite parts were, he said the following. "I liked roasting the marshmellows the best. And watching a movie in the tent." Wait a second you are thinking, camping doesn't involve watching a movie. It does when you have wi-fi , a laptop, netflix and are in your own backyard. They watched "The Muppets Take Manhattan" - a classic.
Next time they will really camp. Who knows Maddy and I may even join them if she's a little older:)
