Handy boy Hayden
Dear Hayden,
Happy birthday Hayden, today you are 5 years old! You have changed so much in this past year. You have become more independent. This past weekend we took you to the Mall of America to go on some rides. We were surprised when you wanted to go on the bumper cars without us encouraging you. In the past, you have needed us to tell you it would be fun to do certain activities, but not this time, you jumped right in and had a blast.
You have such an active imagination, it always amazes me what you come up with when you are playing with your toys. You took your big blocks yesterday and used them to elevate your huge train track. And you love to come up with ideas of how you and Madelynn can play together. I love to watch you interact with her and see how much you truly love her. She is in complete awe of you and wants to be wherever you are.
You still love to build with lego's and you have gotten so good with the sets you get. The only thing you need me for is to put on some stickers. You also love to play star wars with your Daddy. And you are looking forward to going camping this summer with your Daddy now that you have a new sleeping bag.
Yesterday you went to your first Kindergarten visit and loved it. Hard to believe in the fall you will be gone 5 days a week to school but you are so ready for it.
We love you very much and are so proud of who you are. You never cease to amaze us.
